Formerly the Expo domicile of Bertelsmann AG Planet M was one of the darlings of the Expo. In 2011, the media courses of study at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts moved into the building. Its name was changed to Planet MID – Media, Information and Design. Planet MID has a cinema hall with a large screen and several classrooms with excellent technical equipment.

Students of the Bachelor’s degree programmes Public Relations, Journalism and Integrated Media & Communication as well as the Master’s degree programmes Television Journalism and Communication Management make use of the building’s facilities.

The location Planet MID is not part of the tender. The sound installation at Planet MID will be set up by students of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover.
